First Aid re-qualification training

Your First Aid at Work re-qualification course updates your First Aid at Work qualification (FAAW).

The FAAW qualification is valid for 3 years from the date of the last successful First Aid at Work course.

Re-qualify with us.

If you are looking at this page because your current First Aid qualification is due to expire, welcome!

If however; your qualification has expired, unfortunately you will probably have to take the course again in full.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommend that if more than 30 days have passed beyond the expiry date of your qualification, you should do the full course again.

If this is the case, case please return to our First Aid Training page for more options.

The Re-certification and re-qualification courses are an ideal means of updating yourself on key changes.

Similarly, they are a great way of practising those essential skills to ensure that they haven’t gone a bit rusty.

Who is the First Aid at Work re-qualification course for?

This course is for people wishing to renew an existing, valid First Aid at Work certificate.

If your First Aid at Work certificate has already expired, you may still attend this course if you are within 30 days of your qualification expiry date. Because the HSE recommends this limit, we apply this cut off except in exceptional circumstances. Please talk to us if you have exceptional circumstances that we can consider.

The First Aid at Work re-qualification course is quite an intensive course and is delivered over 2 days.

As with your original First Aid course, we expect delegates to have a basic command of English.

Please let us know at the time of booking your course if you have any particular needs. We embrace diversity and make reasonable adjustments for our delegates as far as we can. If we know of any particular requirements in advance, this makes it much easier for us to plan.

Booking for large numbers of students? Have a look at on-site training options.
